this might be a silly question but is the vinyl wrap kinda like window tinting, where there are all different levels of quality and you generally get what you pay for? and are there ever issues with heat (especially in climates like NV, I'm in sunny GA) where it might start to peel over time?

Yup you are right...its like window tinting but the materials is really good. It can absorb heat without damaging the vinyl and your paint. It's like clear bra that we put on to protect the paint. Anyway, what ever happens to it in the coming years i dont mind coz it has warranty and they will replace it again. I had it for 2 yrs now still shiny and no peeling.
