What's up CL....

Just wanted to share a pic of my 07' GS350, with the pinstripes finally removed from the car.

Thanks to Lawrence Lexus of NJ (and $110 labor charge later) I have it the way I want it.

Next couple weeks - putting on my 20" Dropstar DS02 and window tint.

F.Y.I. Pinstripe removal is very very easy. All you need is a hair dryer, a credit card, Goo Gone and some wax. Heat a 6 to 10" section at a time in a back and forth motion for 20 about seconds. Use the credit card to get the pinstripe started then slowly pull the lose pinstripe towards you. Once you have a whole side removed go over the sticky pinstripe residue with some Goo Gone. Once your completely done, go over where the pinstripes were with a thin coat of wax.

Looks very clean did you wax or polish it cause it looks like it.

I dont know why they still put pinstripes on cars thats so late 70s stuff, good look

 

I demanded they removed the pinstripe or I wouldn't buy the car. You can still see remnants of where it was if you look close, but still looks much cleaner overall.
