Default Center consol not sliding forwad

Am I missing something? The senter consol seems locked back, it will not pull forwad to cover the set temp controls. Any idea?

Is the car new to you? The center console doesn't slide forward to cover the seat temp controls.

hes talking about the center console lid and it does slide forward. i believe you need to push the handle like your opening it for it to slide forward. i forget, its just one of those things i do out of habit.

^ sorry, had a brain fart. Thought he was trying to slide the little tray forward

yes, pull the handle lid as you would to open the lid.

That's the thing, when I 'squeze' the handle - it's not moving forward. I am sure it's user error. Tomorrow will be the first time taking it to my dealer, hoping they can help with a few things! I LOVE the car though. Its a beast. I love the feel of the front being a touch heavy... it glides. I really feel like the exterior is extremely subtle compared to the driving experience it offers inside. For me, its day and night vs the ES - I am just working through a few new simple things.

I believe it has a rear shade... how does that work? That is just sick. If you know, please post!

Stupid fix, but if you have the center console full to the max, it locks up.

Help, i have A 2008 Rx 400h. The center console is in the way on the middle seat and my kids have to put their legs on either side of it. Does the center console move forward? I cant find it in my manual and see no way for it to move forward. Please help!
