Default Suede Dash Mat for GS

Ok, so I HATE the look of dash mats, however, I needed one for my GS because of the horrible glair I get from my dash reflecting into the windshield. SO.... here it is...

Oh, I had this same problem with my 06 GS430 also. That color and reflection creates such a horrible glair.

I don't much care for it, even though its made well. It DID completely solve my reflection issue though. So, the value outweighs the look to me.

Sorry for being negative, but I think that looks horrible. I'd prefer to wear sunglasses. Or get in an accident even.

I've never had any glare problems. Do you use some type of dressing (like armor all) on your dash?

Dash mats bring back memories. I think my parents had a carpet style one in an old truck of ours. It even had stitching on the passenger side... Sweet..

Personally, not a fan of them though. Maybe use less butter on the dash when you clean it. A dry microfiber cloth takes the dust off fine and should keep the glare down. If your state allows, tint your windshield.

Not sure why I get such a bad glair. The dash is never armor alled or anything. The most I do to clean it is get a very lightly damp towel and wipe it down. It is actually very distracting when driving. I probably won't keep it but thought I would give it a try. It does the job, but sacrifices the look. I must repeat, I HATE the way it looks too. It's probably not as bad as you think in person, but it is pretty bad.

It's been removed

If I die because the reflection blinds me from an oncoming Airbus A380, then I'm blame all you naysayers.

there's nothing wrong with function over form except that it seems to cover the passenger airbag?

Get a pair of sunglasses.

This is a close second to hot pink wheels!

Bad choice or good choice doesn't matter, if it makes it easier to see, I would leave it!
If your doing a car show then you have an option of taking it off. Boom problem solved. My .03
