VAIS help

Default VAIS help

I just got my VAIS in an hooked up. I saw the thread about displaying the ipod/iphone video, but I cant seem to get the video working. Can anyone help me out? I have an non-nav and non-ML. Thanks in advance

yeah which vaistech model you got?

also does your 06 gs300 has ml? if so, both sl2vi and sl2ic are not compatible with your car, that would why there is no video

I'm guessing he has the vaistech sl2i the audio only he probably doesnt have the video output one.

damn i am a retard, i read no nav but didn't notice the no ml.... sorry about that

in that case video should work (if you have sl2vi). make sure your parking brake is on

interested in VAIS or similiar if it can do the following...

1.) Play DVD video in motion
2.) Has USB input (which can play MP3 music from flash drive & Ipod/Iphone)
3.) input address and make phone calls in motion

does any device do all 3 or at least the top 2??

you can do all 3 but you need to do the wire hack for the dvd but i think there is only a 45 second time limit.

play from usb, that would be vml for your car

dvd in motion, you either cut wire or you get override kit

there is but you need to get the PS kit along with the Vais kit if you want unlimited time for dvds

correct, ps kit will enable factory dvd playback and override the nav. but if you want usb/ipod audio, then also need vaistech vml

Sweet, I have non ML. I checked the site, and like you said, no DVD but I can play videos off of my iPhone or iPod.
