I just think the 06-07 Looks plain and old now... since alot of new cars are coming out.. soo the next best thing is to change my front end to 08-10 so it can blend in lol

I'll take your old spare parts off your hands when you do this if you're not going to want them and will let the bumper cover go for little money. :P

Hey did you ever end up doing the front end conversion? Were those the only parts you needed?

If anyone is near the NYC/NJ area and want to trade front ends, I'm down. I have the 09 front bumper with JDM lip.

I know this is a very old thread, but it seems like some questions were never fully answered and all of the links have long disappeared. Can anyone confirm the parts needed to do this conversion? I bought a front end from an 08 GS350 for dirt cheap and I wanted to install this on my '06. I've searched everywhere, including the FAQ, but everything on there is very, very old. This thread is the closest I've came to info, and I didn't want to start a new thread. Thanks guys!

Might not be much help, but have you checked this thread? https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...fferences.html
When I thought about doing this in the past, I believe you just need the bumper cover and grill surround (chrome part) and lower grill...at least that's a good start. Headlights and fogs look the same to me.

Default I can confirm everything bolts right on

Since no one confirmed my question I decided to do it myself and can confirm that everything from the '08-'11 will bolt on directly to the '06-'07. I converted my 2006 Lexus GS430. All you need is the front bumper, grille, grille surround, lower grille and the front emblem. The headlights and fog lights will carry over and bolt on directly with no problem.I went with the blue hybrid badge for my V8 gas guzzler, lol.

These are the parts you'll need:

Here's the before and after

Before!

Here she is after, I'm very satisfied. The change might be subtle to some but I think it's very different :

Hope I can help out others who have wanted to do this conversion but weren't sure what exact parts to buy.

You're welcome! It's a Vertex replica off ebay painted to match! I can look for the exact name if you'd like!
