Default Grille Trim

Will the new models trim fit an 2006 gs??? I have notice that the new Gs's have a little bigger more aggresive trim that goes up to the headlights edge. Does anybody knows if this is something that could be upgraded? Thanks

Done it, but you have to change the bumper and the grille too.

Yes. The newer bumper has more aggressive lines. It's sculpted under the headlights. Grille is narrower, taller and angular. Bottom ducting is more angular and aggressive. Pre-08 is a little more flat and boxy styling.

Not worth it for the small difference unless your bumper is damaged anyway.

As someone who's trying to gain knowledge of the 3G GS models...

The bumpers/trim are different on the 06 compared with the 07 and up models? Or is it later than 07 for these differences?

I know the mirrors are different starting in 08 (?) but just wondering what other cosmetic changes were made through out the 3rd gen GS.

Or if someone has this documented - point me in that direction.

If everything works out hopefully I'll be the proud owner of a clean 07 in the next few months.

as binaryjay stated, 06-07 are the same. 08 is when they did the facelift with the new front and rear bumper, side mirrors

Thanks guys for the info. I probably won't be able to swing an 08 when I'm ready to buy this Spring but I at least want to have the 3.5L engine that the 07 has.
