Default Westside Lexus Houston

Does anyone else seem to think Westside Lexus spends entirely to much time trying to find ways to deny warranty claims than just taking care of the customer?

They are trying to claim a parking sensor they damaged just coincidentally went out when they removed the bumper and they aren't going to be responsible because the rear bumper has been repainted.

It really makes me wonder why you spend all the money to have a Lexus Platinum warranty when the dealer will only try to figure out ways to deny the claims.

Any recommendations on a dealer in the Houston area that focuses on taking care of the customer and not so much on how to keep from paying warranty claims???

I was thinking of Northside but i know they are owned by the same people. I wonder if they are just like Westside and only try to get out of fixing the problems. Westside can never duplicate the problem or they tell me the car is suppose to do that and if they can duplicate the problem they try and find a reason not to warranty it.

I checked out that forum and it doesn't look like it gets used as much.

Westside has been good to me. I haven't taken it any where else so I can't help answer your other question.

I use SW Lexus (Sterling McCall actually). They have gone out of their way to try to fix a problem. I was not happy at all with the Bluetooth. We tried several things - they even offered to replace the head unit of the stereo. I actually declined, and found out eventually it was the software on my Blackberry. I felt better about not letting them put a new head unit in - but really appreciated their offer to try it.
