Steering stuck
I just went out to get some gas and notice the P/S came on the dash and my steering wheel is stiff, I can turn left and right maybe about 1-2 inches. It was fine last night as I was driving on the highway home.
The weather was really bad, started with mad rain, then 5cm of snow then ice all mixed within hours and I left the car outside overnight and just found out this problem now. Any ideas?

Sounds like the steering rack has gone bad. I assume the car already had that replaced a looong time ago as part of that recall.
Going to have to have it towed to Lexus and cry foul I'm afraid.
I was out driving that same weird weather night and drove again today and my car didn't self destruct due to the weird combination of elements.

did you have it replaced under the recall? if so check the date as the part carries a 1yr/12k warranty.
i just had mine replaced last month for the same issue and lexus said it was a bad rack and pinion. total cost was about $1800 (i was just looking at the receipt last night). about $1100 for the rack and $700 for labor.
mine was covered under my extended warranty so i only had to pay a $100 deductible but i dont mind seeing as i got my monies worth for my extended warranty
