Post Hid-d4s ballast stop working

can anyone help with a solution to my problem. Ok my drivers side went out a few weeks a go and now my passenger side is starting to do out. I know the ballast is build into the assembly. Now I know you are all thinking the bulbs are just out but I already replaced them. When I replaced it the drivers side remained off and the passenger side worked. With all this said now my passenger side is now starting to go out as well. The factory part is $900 plus tax and I was think about doing a supermarket kit but can't find it. I was also thinking about replacing the ballast but don't know how to remove the built in unit.

PLEASE ANYONE LET ME KNOW IF YOU CAN HELP ME. THANKS

What is a supermarket kit ? Anyways, if its just a ballast then you can buy one on ebay. If I remember correctly, 2 ballasts would cost you around $200. You can probably install the ballast yourself or take it to any local shop

HAHAHAHA I'm on my phone and spell check must have changed it but I ment to say aftermarket. I know they have the ballast for sale but not too sure how to remove it due to them being built-in.

replacing the ballast is not hard but does require you removing the front bumper and headlight. once the headlight is out there is a little plastic lever on the side of the headlight. in the picture below its just to the top right of the cover you remove to access the bulbs.

without removing this piece you will not be able to get the ballast out because of the plug (that plugs into the bulb) is too big to fit through the opening without removing that little plastic lever.
