Default center switch console

Does anyone know how to dismantle the center switch console? Any step by step would be useful.

I want to know what it takes to install the aluminum trim console.

off topic but isnt that a switch to shut off the headlamp washers?

I dont think you have to take anything apart. Maybe just lift the center piece and that is in the DIY navi thread.

very simple. pull up shift plate (straight up) and slide it out, disconnect connectors. 2 screws, one on each side leather panel, then pull it out. the button console is held down by clips around it, work your way through, unclip, and pull it up

Yes the four corner areas even have a rectangle cut out you can put a flat head screw driver in to help pull up on.

I don't think so. You have to find someone in Japan to send it to you.
