alot of the mazda/mazdaspeed guys ran these plugs a while back.. the results were mixed; some had better throttle response, better fuel burn, while others had bad plugs.. i havent seen any lexuses with em yet..

Here's some reviews:

Thx jadu for the reviews and yes it's mostly Mazdas, and Hondas and Chevys who really run with these plugs. Again thx I think I'm sticking to OEM plugs

If you dont mind a couple day wait Sewell has the OEM plugs for $12~ a each, not a bad price for a high tech iridium plugs. I installed a new set at 50k miles into my GS300 and i ran smoother at idle, driving i really couldn't tell. my factory plugs were pretty thrashed already at 50k.

i also decided to stick with oem plugs for both my cars. ive had bad experiences in the past with spark plugs blowing out of the socket.

i reread those reviews, and it looks like they were having some manufacturing process problems/defects back in 08. i wonder how well theyre doing now.

There's no reason not to use the OEM plugs.

Your plugs should be good until 60k. I just had mine replaced by Lexus and thats (60k) is what they recommended for my GS350 though.

Every few years someone comes out with a new "miracle" spark plug.

Ring of Fire, Split Fire, twin electrode, four electrode, rapid fire, E3, diamond fire, etc.

They all claim ..... more power!!, better mpg!!, smoother idle!!, you will look better to women!!, you will get more sex!! ...well maybe not the last two.

They make claims that, if they really worked, the car manufacturers would line up to buy them. Car manufacturers spend millions in research and development to make better mpg, power, etc. if a spark plug could improve as much as the "miracle" plug claims it would save manufacturers millions.

The best thing the "miracle" spark plug is good for is seperating you from your $$ and making someone else richer.

Use the spark plug that the origional manufacturer designed the engine with and you will have fewer problems.

Day after day people prove P.T. Barnum was right.

I replaced my OEM plus at around 52,000k miles, I definatly noticed better acceleration. I suggest ONLY OEM plugs. They can be found on sewellparts.com!!!

If a spark plug sparks when it should, and makes some gas blow up, then it's working at 100% efficiency and can't work any better assuming that it's operating in the correct temperature range and is the correct length to get into the right part of the cylinder.

You can put 20 prongs on the end of one, but it's not going to make gas explode any differently.
