just bring the TSIB to the dealership and they should be able to replace it for you, depending on car year if its out of the four year warranty they will give you a grace on that product.

theres a warranty on any replaced part of 1yr/12months

if your car is out of warranty, they will not do the tsb for free.

I purchased my car Certified Pre-Owned. I gave them the TSIB and they said it's not covered. This dealership sucks compared the the one closer to my house. Can I just take my car to ANY Lexus dealership in regards to things needing to be done under warranty?

Thanks to dunnojack and all others who posted on this topic. The dealer originally said they wouldn't replace the b-pillar piece under warranty, and its cost would be around $160. I said to forget it. Then I read these posts, particularly dunnojack's, and called the dealer to mention the TSIB. They had me bring the car in (again), looked at the pillar, and ordered a new one per the TSIB. In addition, they washed and vacuumed the car while it was there - it REALLY needed it. Thanks to all for this positive result in particular, and all other informative and educational entries on this forum. I've saved significant expenses over the years as a result. Happy New Year to you all.

I'm pretty sure if it's done under the TSIB then you should have had both replaced otherwise the car looks weird with one side different than the other.

blacksedan,
The car is still under warranty.

Jay,
Thanks for the input - never crossed my mind. I'll make it a point to discuss this with my service advisor if the two pieces aren't similar. Actually I'm just happy Lexus came through on this the 2nd time around.
