Also got a 2010 GS loaner today. 2 things stuck out to me...the display grpahics on the center console screen is way better on the 2008. The 2010 screen has a different feel that I definitely didnt like.

Secondly, the acceleration on my loaner seemed less punchy. I know there was not an engine change from 2008 and 2010 but it definitely felt less responsive.

Hope they make some major imnprovements moving into 2012/next gen.

Wow...cool. I got an HS at first then had to go back to do a test drive for a seat click and ended up with another car and this time an IS250.

The worst car I've ever been given by a Lexus dealership as a loaner was a Hyundai Elantra. Seriously, WTF.

When I had the Valve Spring recall done on GSh they gave us an HS. I like the next Gen NAV and camera in the in front bump. The mouse like interface felt natural and didn't take that long to get use to, but I still prefer the touch screen. Another nice update to the NAV was being able to see how many miles to your next exit and what POIs were at that exit.

Hello jay ,
I was just curious of which dealer did that to you....
Soo I can avoid them....LOL.

My dealer call me yesterday for the Valve Spring Recall but they are all booked till mid December told them I'll schedule next week.

Cheers.

I got a hyndai sonata from them once, that's when they didn't have loaners and had enterprise rental car pick me up. That's only when you don't have an appointment for a loaner so nothing much to worry about. When you guys make an appointment for repair or service make sure you also make an appointment for a loaner to avoid problems like these. On another note, extended warranty don't cover loaner cars they only cover rentals.

The dealership i go to only has IS,ES, HS and RX's. I always ask for the RX, which is a nice change from a lowered GS.

I'm a huge fan of the real time traffic. It'll even offer you re-rout
e options from time to time, and verbally notify you how far ahead and how long the jam is.
