Default Winter Floor Matts

Has lexus redisigned the winter floor mats yet. If so, where is the best place to get them?

Thanks
Dave

I've kept my black lexus all season mats in my black/black car permanently for the last year. I'm pretty sure Sewell has them online.

Mine is AWD, though, so they are different than the ones for the RWD.

Thanks.

All I see at Sewell is the cloth mats. I too want to leave them in all year. I have cashmere and think a black would look better anyway. My car is GS350 AWD if that helps.

Did they ever re-release all weather floor mats for the GS? I went to my dealership and asked if they have in stock but they set they have been recalled and have not been replaced with a new design yet.. i really wanna find some Lexus ones

I never got any word about them being recalled and I'm pretty sure the Toyota dealership I got them through ordered them without trouble and this was after the whole mat controversy.

I can only guess that the AWD is not affected by the mat recalls because of the IMO better gas pedal design. :P

You may also try the WeatherTech AWD floor liners.

Lexus is NOT producing winter mats for any model except the ES and IS, which were recalled. For those two models, they are only selling front mats, not even the full set. For all other models, it is a waiting game...

Pulling all winter mats off the shelves is the mother of all knee-jerk reactions, but that's exactly what they did. Current target release date according to Sewell is December 2010, except they were told Spring 2010, June 2010 and October 2010 before, so who knows. Lexus corporate, when you call them directly, don't know either...

I have tan interior and ordered from Weathertech. Have to say they fit great and really protect the carpet. They told me to take the carpet mats out from underneath but they are ok to put on top of them.
Here is a cell phone pic that I took of them after I installed them. Sorry about the quality.

I'll try and call Lexus tomorrow to see if they have any all weather floor mats (rubber ones) in stock or if there was replacement of some sort. Last i remember, they said they pulled ALL floor mats as a pre caution..

GS was never part of the recall, and yes, ALL winter mats were depleted from dealerships' inventory and sent to some warehouse. Dealerships are not supposed to sell them.

Just last week I tried to buy mats for my LX from s Toyota dealer that sells Lexus accessories, and no cigar.

This is the email I got:

Lexus currently has a Stop Sale on their All Weather Floor Mats due to the recall. We are cancelling this order and your credit card was not charged. -Thank You

So, the GS floor mats that I have currently installed have nothing wrong with them yet they aren't being sold? Or, can I eventually get them replaced for free when they are sold again? I'm confused.

They were bought last October.
