Just picked up my 07 450h with ML. How difficult is it and where can I get the part to add the factory XM radio?

 

if you want factory xm, you need the tuner and the fitting kit. overall price around 300. you can get it from dealership of course. it's not too hard to install, it's in the trunk area

Just want to know, does the factory unit accepts Sirius Radio?

 

factory head unit is not the problem. for example with vaistech, you can easily do xm or serius setup no problem (cheaper price as well). i have installed all kind of setup on the car, factory xm, vaistech xm, vaistech sirius. they all work very well

May I ask what are the major difference between factory and the vaistech units? How difficult is it to install it yourself on a 450h with sharkfin + ML? I installed a head-unit in an automobile before if you have to ask how capable I am.
