light vibrate on idle..
Hey I'm a new owner owner with 1500clicks 2006 rwd gs300 and today when I was driving and i stoped at a red light. The car seemed to vibrate on idle and the rpm would slightly go up & down.

Totally normal, vehicle's idle is dropping because the radiator fan is kicking on and putting a hefty draw on the electrical system, rpm shift has to with fan kicking on and off.
Also when the idle drops you feel the vibrations better because they are further apart.

Your old maxima has fairly low compresion in comparison to your GS. Each time there is ignition you can feel the bang. Thats the vibration.
Go and sit in another GS3*0, you will feel the same thing. I did this with a customer for 4 cars before he conceeded. I wouldn't compare a car with direct injection and high compression to one thats not.
Unfortunately the days are gone of being able to balance a dime on your valve cover at idle. Fuel efficiency and EPA requirements have changed the direction of Lexus's pursuit.
