Default Approaching 30k miles . .

Just curious how much you guys paid at the dealership for a 30k mile schedule maintenance? Or is there a way I can avoid the dealers?

Common sense says avoiding the dealership is as easy as not going to the dealership and doing the required maintenance yourself or somewhere else.

Much of the procedure is doing 'checks' you probably can do yourself. The oil/filter change isn't difficult if you have the means (lift/jackstands,etc.) How-to posts can be found on this forum and they're excellent getting you through the procedures. The air/cabin filter changes are very simple. Also, at least for the oil filter, I bought one at a Toyota dealer for $3.00 less than the same item at Lexus.
All that being said, if you don't want to do any of the checks and/or necessary fluid/filter changes yourself, I'd recommend comparing your Lexus and a Toyota dealer for costs on like procedures. Toyota usually has a significantly lower labor cost, and they're totally capable of caring for your Lexus.

Interesting . . So where can I get OEM air filters for a decent price? I might just do it myself then

You can try some sponsors. I used lexuspartsworld for my oil and air filter. Be careful when change your AC cabin filter.
