don't get it wrong though, the ones on veyron is still totally special, not the normal ones. a set will run about 17k

plus at about 110mph (180kmh), most tires can handle that

back to OP, can you explain a bit more about pressure being 2.5? what is 2.5? the system on the 3gs only tells you if it's low pressure or not? though i am confused, the tpms system triggers when pressure is lower than a certain number. from factory i believe it's right around 28psi. it doesn't detect anything else besides pressure. so i wonder how can the light be on but you and dealer both couldn't see lower pressure in one of the tires

 

Second that on the Veyron tires. There was an episode on NatGeo's "Man-Made" that showed production of those tires. The front are 245 on 20 inch rims. Not bad. Try finding 365 width on the rear though. O and they're also hand-made.

 

Not smart enough to tell u which one and why.

Can we do something with the dealer? we ask them to check for a problem and fix it. They declare it is safe and this happen right after because of that exact problem we ask them to check. How can they declare it's safe? It's like you are stone drunk and the doctor said you can drive home. It's not right.

 

I've always had 34 PSI = 2,35 bar on my 2GS as well as my 3GS. Both I have driven at speeds over 200 kmh (130 mph) and found the handling perfect.

The reason I'll stick to 34 PSI is that's it is slighly over the recommendation of the manual for normal driving and the fact that my first set of Pirellis on my 2GS lasted for 66000 miles with perfectly even tire wear across the thread and all four tires.
