I am having an issue with the tire pressure indicator on my 2016 model and wondering if anyone had the same issue. The light came on 2 days ago so I took it the dealer and also had the maintenance done. It came off then back on this morning. I took it back to the dealer again and they said no leak and blamed on the cold weather. They did something and the light came off. It just went back on again. My front right tire is showing 27psi while other tires are showing 35/36. I checked that tire and it looked ok to me. I hate to take the car back to the dealer again but it’s driving me nut!!!!

swing to a local shop and have them check the air in the tires, 1 should be low, and it should be the right front.
How did you check it if you don't have a way to measure pressure?? Always need a reliable gauge (sensors help, but good to have a gauge as well. )
the tire probably has a leak. in the bead or the tread. they may want to check that as well.

I took the car back to the dealer this morning for the 3rd time and they finally found a nail on the side and told me I need a new tire for $275. They also told me I will need to replace all other tires in the next 3k miles. I drove 19k so far. That meant their original set of tires (Michelin) only last 22k miles? I have an Acura MDX as well and drove that car more often than this one and so far I have 30k miles with no problem. Is this 20k-25k miles normal for Lexus?
I bought a Certified Pre-Owned Lexus with 25k miles on it and the dealer put new front tires on it. They said it didn't meet Lexus spec. They are right to put a new tire on it, if it has a nail in the sidewall. The others are probably fine for a while longer than they claim.
The nail in the sidewall is serious and most tire shops will not repair that kind of a puncture. Agree that a tire gauge is important, it would have saved the trips to the dealer. Possibly a tire dealer would have had a lesser price? As for Michelin tires, a lot of them have only 8.5/32 tread depth (for comfort ride/traction?) Some tires come with 10 or 11/32 tread depth and perhaps longer mileage. If you have 20" rims, that might also have a lesser mileage experience? I have seen a warning by Lexus, that the tires provided on this vehicle may not give more than 20,000 miles, depending on the driver and conditions.

I have been buying Michelins for many years on several vehicles and have consistently gotten 50 to 60k miles on them. I usually had to replace them because of age-related cracks on the sidewalls. They were all bought aftermarket and tread depth measured 10/32nds. My 2017 RX came with Michelins and after reading on here about poor mileage with Michelins, I went out and measured the depth on mine at 8/32nds with maybe a thousand miles on them. So apparently manufacturers supply different tires than the aftermarket.

No it has nothing to do with mileage, but rather with the overall diameter of the wheel in relation to the AWD. The difference in overall diametre between all tires cannot be above a certain % or else the AWD will not work properly. As long as all the tires wear more or less evenly there is no problem, but if at a certain wear 1 or 2 need to be replaced then all 4 need to be replaced. Had this problem also on an Outback.
