Default GS350 parking assist "stuck"

Hello,

We recently purchased an '07 GS350. Love the car! Need a little advice on a "problem". The left front parking assist is "stuck". It makes the constant high pitched noise if the car is going very slow or stopped. The started after it was parked at the airport for a long weekend. We checked to be sure that no one hit the car or that something wasn't stuck to the sensor. We think it may still be under warranty and plan to pursue checking into if this is a warranty repair...

If not a warranty repair, could anyone help us troubleshoot the problem and fix? I've done some searching on the web, but so far haven't come up with anything that helps me troubleshoot.

Thanks!

You can try pulling the battery for a while, and then reinitializing the system following the owners manual. Involves driving straight for some period of time if my memory serves. In the meantime, in the drop down control box you can disable the system by pressing the cone/sonar button. Also might be the connection got loose or something and disconnecting and reconnecting the harness might solve it... but I'm not sure how easy it is to get to that sensor.
