Hello,

I recently purchased a 06 GS300 with the ML audio/navigation system. For whatever reason, I am unable to get video playback on DVD. As manual and previous post says, ignition on, shifter in P position and parking brake applied.

I have DVD inserted with ignition on, shifter in P position parking brake applied. In the audio menu, it allows me to select the "PICTURE" button. When I press the picture button, all i get is a black screen but i do get audio. I've checked the DVD if it was compatible as well and it is. Tested with multiple DVD's but I end up with the same result. Black screen with audio.

I've gone through the manual and searched this forum up and down prior to posting my help request. Any assistance grately appreciate it.

welcome to clublexus. it seems like the wires behind have been tempered (and obviously incorrectly). otherwise the unit is malfunctioning

no modifications have been done. at least not that i know of. navi and audio works perfectly just not dvd playback.

car's at the dealer. i'll be getting an answer tomorrow.

Let us know what they say, I'm curious as well.
