can anyone tell me if there is any reason i should not replace the plugs at 45k? i'm hoping changing them may improve the ride even if it's by a little. I plan on just buying them and taking them to my independent mechanic at the time of my next oil change.

what is the genuine oem part # i should search for?

thanks.

thanks.
The top reason you should not change them is that they're iridium tipped plugs, that are rated for 100,000 miles.
Many have run them to significantly higher miles, myself included.
So, bottom line, it's unnecessary, and wasteful of your money, unless of course your car is not running right, which is probably not due to bad spark plugs - at some 45,000 miles.

(If you really have too much cash, send it to me, and I'll find a poor economically disadvantaged person to give it to.)

Any idea whether the 450H has these similar rated sparks?

I was fortunate enough to buy my car a month ago, previous owner JUST did 60k service at Lexus dealer in Orlando.

AFAIK, Lexus/Toyota has been specifying iridium plugs since at least the 2000 model year
