I am trying to install this : (one to the right side 6 x 2 LED panel)
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWNX%3AIT
The plug looks like it plugs into the the trunk light box plug. I removed the whole box and disconnected the plug. I tried plugging it in but it seems to small. Should I just splice the wires and connect it to the plug wires ?
If anyone has some experience please let me know. Thanks

yeah that weak little bulb to the right... I can never see anything at night when I open my trunk. Its a small box with a little cylinder looking bulb.
I am trying to install this LED panel that has a wire attached to it. I thought I just plugged that into wires but it doesnt fit

what exactly are you confused about ? you have to buy the 6x2 panel as well as the appropriate adapter, in this case the fuselike bulb. Bulb goes in the housing you have now , the wires and male adapter sticking out of it. You then plug in the female plug on the 6x2 into the bulb adapter. So you need to get both the 6x2 panel and one of the 3 adapters to go with it. the 6x2 panel attaches wherever you want in the trunk

WOW, it came out super bright. I just took a picture in the morning.
Also I just took a picture from the rear seat into the trunk and noticed a glow in the dark handle to open the trunk if you get locked in there, LOL...

*thumbsup* it looks good im actually thinking of relocating my light from the side to the center top of the trunk so it gives a even brighter lit trunk. led brightens your trunk alot but it doesnt light the right side of your trunk enough but good progress
For me, I went the cheap way... I got the one very similar to this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2-x-H...item2a021d4617
Run the cable and did the soldering myself... made a hole in the middle of the trunk and put it through. It looks pretty good and much much brighter than the OEM. I agree with you the OEM bulb is very useless.

I'm copying Robert's version below. What were they thinking with that tiny little light?
