I was contemplating whether or not to purchase chrome door handles and was wondering...having chrome door handle covers over the OEM handles will it effect how the vehicle is unlocked when you touch the inside of the door handle for the vehicles equiped with the smart key system?

 

don't think so, my friend had it, no problem. plus it's just on the outer surface, the sensors are on the inner surface

 

Mine got chrome cover also and it's doesn't effect anything to the door sensors

 

Where is the best place to buy them? Is the quality good? Thanks.

Chrome is a plating not a material. There's no such thing as a nugget of chrome, guys. Well, there could be a block of chromium, but it's not a workable metal that anything is made out of. When people talk about "Chrome" they are not talking about a material made of Chromium.

i don't have any close up pizs,here's the only one i got.. try to search around i'm pretty sure some one did post their' chrome cover already..
