Can anyone provide me with some links or instructions on how to remove the headlights? My passanger side headlight got foggy (Not lens, it's the projector lens it self) I am trying to clean it up without remove it, but I could only reach and clean half of the projector lens! Please help me out.......

I think he means to use the dry air to remove moisture in your head unit.

i would suggest removing it from the car first like you intend before using a hair drier on it. fyi its much easier to dry out the city light then the actually headlight.

well since our server is down at work, i can take the time out to give some instructions. its fairly easy but does require removal of the front bumper.

1) pop hood and remove push pins for rad cover and engine bay cover (cover along the fender, remove which ever one you need for which ever headlight it is)

2) remove screws and push pins for front wheel liner (enough that you are able to get a hand behind the front of the liner)

3) remove screws under front bumper that connect the front bumper to the liners and front air dam

4) remove bolt that connects the side of the bumper to the fender. (must be done for both sides)

5) remove 3 bolts along the rad support (should be 1 on each side by the headlights and 1 in the center above the Lexus logo)

6) remove front bumper off of car

7) remove 3 bolts that hold the headlight in place (1 on the side by the turn signal i believe and 2 up top)

i hope this helps. i couldnt figure out how to unhook the main harness for the headlight and i didnt want to break it so i ended up just removing the bracket that it is on to get the light free from the car.

Maybe I describe it wrong, it looks like dirt or oil cover on the projector lens so not very clean look.

I took the headlight unit out last night to clean the projector lens, now it looks crystal clean. I will upload the picture tonight, show you guys what’s the difference!

how did the oil/fog/water/whatever it was got in the headlight? I thought it's sealed.

Is your crystal frosted like mine too? Like it's have little grain on it. I think the light look better without the grain/frost.

Looks good. So U got the entire lens clean and not only half? I think the reason U could clean only half b/c of the cutoff thingy inside the housing.

I still don't understand how the oil stuff got into your light.

Did you change to a high color bulb also? That doesn't look like 4300K. How much did U pay for it?

For the low beam they are price cheap HID bulbs but the quality is not bad, only 1/4 or 1/5 price compare with brand name bulbs, I just want to try it out to see how it (6000K) looks. Fog light HID kit is also 6000K (Labeled) for me more like 6500K, I bought it from Super Autobacs Taiwan for $60 bucks.

PS: For my poor English the lens was forested, cover with dirt not really “oil”…….
