does anyone know if there are any available after market in dash navi screens that i can purchase?

i have a 06 GS 300 and mine didnt come with navi

I don't think they make an in-dash replacement for the GS since it controls other functions of the car too. It'll be harder and expensive to produce a replacement that offers navigation and controls like HVAC control on such an unpopular car like the GS. There is a aftermarket replacement unit for the IS however since it's more popular car, it's more cost-effective. Forgot the link for that one, but it does seem to give even more functions than a stock navi does.

there isn't ever going to be an "in dash" solution for our car

your best bet is windshield mounted gps

The 2nd Gen IS just recently got this aftermarket center console for non-navi cars. It has all the NAVI features, and comes with ipod integ.

But it cost about the same if u just add it to ur cars total price. I think on the cars sticker the OEM one was ~$3k?

wow 2k to add it. i say get the vais with video output and use your phone as a video out source so you can see your nav from your phone onto your screen in the car.
