why so bitter? i know we didn't get the lower intake box with our F-Sport Intakes, but they purposely did that to reduce the noise dB level while providing additional performance. if you are looking for the cone filter level of noise (i.e. k&n, etc..), check http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/for...7&#entry558347

when i swapped out the OEM with the F-Sport, i definitely noticed a louder roar, lower end torque, and increased performance throughout the powerband, and plus it complements the F-Sport exhaust tone..overall, i'm very happy with my F-Sport purchases (waiting on camber kit to install the springs and new rubber bushings before installing the sways)...F-Sport Lexus products are warrantied for a year (i installed it myself..took 15 minutes for intake, 40 for the exhaust)

Where'd you see that there was going to be a F-Sport camer kit for this car? I can't find it anywhere.

Does it also increase your SIZE? Does it make your hair thicker?

I think you are experiencing what they call placebo effect.

i could care less what you think is placebo or not..the f-sport intake uses the already efficient cold air intake OE factory box with a less restrictive pipe and a high flow filter..furthermore, our cars utilize something called dual variable valve timing on both intake and exhaust valves..less restriction in the intake and exhaust means higher air flow especially when compared to the stock OE setup..after i installed the parts, i had to reset the ECU which was recommended..upon start-up, the car initially hesitated like it was going to stall, but eventually smoothed itself out in adjustment of the newer less restrictive air/fuel ratio

Reads like an infomercial.

I've been down that road with other cars, and at the end of the day the only thing that is definitely noticeable is a change in the engine noise.

I agree. I would like to see some real numbers, for example dyno HP count before and after, or something like that. Otherwise it depends whether you chose to believe the manufacturer's claims or not. I remeber few years ago "Car And Driver" magazine tested K&N airfilters on several differen cars. K&N advertized 5-8% power increase. During the dyno test the best reading C&D got was 0.9%. So, I am very sceptical when it comes to this kind of stuff.

At the end of the day, if it makes you feel good then it's worth the money. Santa may not be real, but he still makes kids happy. Personally, I am taking all of the credit and telling my kids the truth about Santa early on.
