Very cool! I'm in the same boat with other keys though.

I have about 3 smart cards in my wallet (for various doors). Although it is supposed to help me get in/out easier (not having to take it out), the card readers go crazy when I put my wallet up to them. Then I have to dig through my wallet and find the exact card I need to get in. The question is, will the Lexus use the same frequency and end up doing the same thing?

Job my memory but this can fit in your wallet right and it acts like a normal key. Its just a slim key without the removable spare right?

I should know this

The 07 GS350 isn't listed either.

Also, are there buttons on this this thing like the regular key fob?

there are no buttons. Its all about touch control

I think they list it as the GS300 for 06 but the keyless entry is the same between all these models You just loose the valet key feature since this was not meant for our car. Worth it to me

I had a friend hook it up but just as long as people are nice, it should be a real easy procedure..

Seeing how it's not listed for our GS430, I wouldn't trust it. If you REALLLLLLYYYYY want than email them.

Anyway, I miss the old key. I only have the key to deal with when I only want the engine off. With this keyless, I have to put in N and brakes and all that to just have the engine off. A greater chance of me leaving the car in N by accident.

There are actually multiple different versions of the smartcard with different frequencies. For instance the cards I use on My GS460 and the card I use on my ES350 use different frequencies and had to be ordered for that specific model.

I got the ES350 first and the first card Sewell sent could not be programmed. The second one worked fine. Since then Sewell has the info on what to send so won't make mistakes.

So make sure you call Sewell and they will hook you up with the right one and give a good discount.

I highly recommend the smartcard. While I still have to carry my door key, I know just have one key on a key ring and its a small metal key. The fob was really bulky.

^ it's like a smart key, but it doesn't have buttons nor valet key.. you can stick it into your wallet and open, lock, start the car, hence no keys to carry in your pocket.. it's just a convenient feature which was only available on ls460 before.
