I miss daylight savings time. Getting dark this early keeps me from washing the cars during the week. I like to normally do it at least once in the week and on weekends. But now it's dark early. I hate it!
Why can't DST become permanent?

I like DST to have daylight until 7:30-8:00.
Now it gets dark at 5:30. Too dark to wash the ride. Too dark to have fun after work.

I couldn't agree more, guys. Makes me feel like hibernating 'til Spring.

On the other hand, it's gotten me motivated to switch my DRL's, city, turn signal, brake and trunk lights over to LED's now that I can appreciate them more!

Quote: I feel ya... I work and go to school. By the time I get out it's VERY dark outside. I haven't washed my car for weeks now... maybe a month. All I been doing is waking up extra early and wiping off the morning dew. It's not the same. Even on the weekends I get busy. Worst thing is that my car is black. So I HAVE to stay on top of it =[

hey ICE350, I think you are the first member who i have come accross that washes his car more than me. For me its like clock work. Every sunday morning I get up , chill for a bit, then go get the car washed. But its only once a week. I am way to tired to wash my car during the week. you are hardcore....lol

I've been using Optimum No Rinse in the garage so temps, time of day and darkness don't matter. I've got it down to about 20-25 min for a full wash. I don't put a lot of miles on the car normally, so I do wheels once a week and the whole car every other. After claying and 6 coats of Zaino a month and a half ago, it's super easy to keep clean.

Twice a week is nothing. I used to wash it 3x a week. People would laugh and say that one day I'd wash the paint off the car. My reply, it's my car and I'll wash it as much as I want. You take a bath everyday....so can my car.
All my life, since childhood I have hated a dirty car. Some things never change.
