HID Lightbulb - Help!!!

definitely check out ebay as an option, tons of bulbs going for real cheap, especially stock. usually i see a pair going for like 80-100 bucks. and make sure you change both of them together so color matches
The Installation is pretty standard but if you have big hand it might be kind of hard to get into the lighting house. The passenger side should take you 5 mins but the driver side space is a bit more crowded. You might want to remove the windshield fluid tube when you are installing the driver side.
that's not instruction for hid buts, they have cap and clip, and then take out the bulb. you don't twist the bulb. kyang91 already has some good info, it's very tight space for sure
look at the classified forum, someone is selling his stock bulbs for 60 shipped

couple of things.
I got my HID bulbs from here http://stores.ebay.com/HID-CONCEPT about 88 for the pair, shipped to my door, fast too, just a few days from the east coast to the west and they were packed very well and insured.
I put these in today and its no walk in the park, until you have done it once, I actually have the service manuals for my GS300 and even then the passenger side was challenging, as I have big hands. the driver side was simple, but I had to remove the windshield washer filler, simple enough. The passenger side I had to take out the airbox, not completely, but its a tight squeeze.
there are clear twist off caps in the engine compartment, once you take all the covers off, I didnt expect them to be 90 degrees with the front end, so prepare for that... then there is a metal connector that needs to twist and then pull off, there is a small icon on it, but its hard to see. Then there are 2 spring clips that need to GENTLY be squeezed and pulled away from the bulb, be careful to do them one at a time and keep your eye on the bulb.. it can fall out and into the surrounding shroud and then your hosed.. its possible and it happened to me, but I got lucky and got the bulb back out. There are notches that need to be aligned with the bulb so it fits into the socket, then and pay attention here.. if you didnt pull too hard on the spring clips they will hold the bulb in tight, if you bent them a bit then the bulb sits in there loose.. just pull back gently to put the bend back into the spring clip, but be gentle. The plastic covers just twist back in, but pay attention to the one clear section that needs to face up so you can see into that area.
I did notice that my bulbs were MUCH brighter and whiter than the ones I replaced, mine is an 06 and I know you only get about 3000 hours out of the bulbs so I did this as a preventative measure. I bought mine CPO and it had 60k miles on it.
take your time doing this, some cars are 5 min a side, mine was about 30 min passenger and 15 min driver, if I had to do it again I could do each side in 10.. but the first time is a learning experience
