Default Winter Tires....

Im considering Michelin X-Ice tires for this winter. Anyone have these on their GS? I have narrowed it down to these or the blizzak w60's but the X-Ice's are better on road noise reviews say.....

Any input is welcome. Thank you in advance.

I've owned both tires over the last several years and they're nearly equivalent in terms of winter traction. Now, I had Blizzaks on my lexus and my yukon and X-ices on my subaru. What you've heard is essentially correct. The Blizzaks get louder and do so faster than the X-ices. Of course, i should have put the X-ices on the lexus since Subaru are prone to road noise in the first place.....live and learn

Look at Michelin Pilot Alpin PA3's. They got really good reviews. I think ive decided to go with the Pilots. They are a little more pricey but might be worth it. Now I hope I can find them so I dont have to order them.

I have these and Im in Chicago. Great tire, quiet, and handles when the roads are dry. I am lowered also and had no issues with traction or any wear problems. I have them on the OEM 18" rims. This will be my 2nd season with them.
