I have put on some 19" rims and using stock spring right now. Anyone with problem rubbing with 19"? Are the stock spring too soft? My friend was sitting in the back and he weights 235lbs. Is this normal?

I am driving an 07. Thanks for the advice or comments.

I suggest proving the following as well:

-wheel widths
-wheel offsets
-tire sizes

I am clueless as to how a 19" wheel and tire set up on a GS would rub unless you have off road tires on the wheels

Couldn't have said it better than TWong1200. And when do you rub? If you rub when you turn is probably due to improper wheel specs. If you rub on dips than you should drive slower and/or at an angle.

Front: 245/40/19
Back: 275/30/19

Running on Yokohama S-Drive

Rims: XXR Rims Polish 19" x 8.5 /114.3

If I go through a dip on the road, it would caused the rubbing. (this will happen only when someone is sitting in the back)

you really don't know how wheels work... if i give you a set of 19s designed for g35 coupe you will cry with all the rubbing

we need offset values. are you saying wheels are 8.5 front and rear?

Your back wheel has to be wider than 8.5 if you are running a 275 tire. Your offsets are way off too. Check the inside of the barrel, the offset should be stamped on there. Then get back to us.

also to add to this, the width should be either on the barrel or on the back side of the spokes.

Your offsets are probably too low in the rear.

Your best option is to shave your fender lip and/or add negative camber. Another option is to swap out your rear 275 tire with 245 (stretch).

Good luck.

OHH sorry. I thought like most normal people he may have been using a wheel that was made for his vehicle ( crazy talk). In my world we actually ( your not going to believe this ****) use wheels that actually fit the car. We dont put G35 wheels on a GS350, and we dont buy wheels from friends that were used on different cars. I am sorry my common sense clashed with your knowledge of poorly fitting wheels, but I am still right assuming of course that the wheels are actually made for your car. In the future I wont assume that people initially know what they are doing/buying or that some members have faith in the knowledge of fellow members. Sorry
