What type of burning rom did you use? (iTUNES, NERO?) And also what type of cd did it actually work?
Hey guys ml stands for mark levension? Correct sorry i'm a rookie to this site
You have to make what people essentially know as a Video DVD with just the audio. That format has a set directory structure and acceptable file formats.
I made one that worked with DVD Studio Pro. I think NERO can do it - not sure though.
Anyway, the bottom line is that making that one DVD made it pretty clear that the only viable option is to get an iPod adapter. You can get 4.3 GB of audio on a DVD, but you're left without any meaningful ability to navigate through the disk. That is, I doubt you want to make a disk with a large number of songs only to go through them one by one without being able to see anything (the DVD capabilities are meant to be locked out unless you are stopped with the parking brake on).
either do the wire cutting or get the override unit, i always go through all my song folders and such when driving
and just to stress what drepper mentioned, can't just burn mp3 files to dvd, won't play no matter what. need to either change it to dvd-a format or trick it as dvd video with just audio and then it will play.
