Default Auto Lock

Hey guys, my car used to lock itself if the key fob was not in close proximity but now it doesn't do that anymore.
ANyone know how to correct that?

I'm surprised you say that. Every Lexus dealer I've been to says that you can't program the car to lock itself if the fob moves out of range. That would be an awesome feature. Just park the car. Get out and walk away. The car locks itself. I want that.

Are you saying this is possible?

The auto-lock feature only works when, say, you unlock the doors using the key fob but do not enter the car in about 20 seconds, regardless of whether the key fob is with you or not. It will not work, however, if you get out of the vehicle and forget to lock it from either the button on the door handle or the key fob itself.

Aren't there other kuxury cars that autolock when you walk off after getting out of the car?

At any rate, mine isn't doing the unlock-wait 30 seconds-locks itself thing either.

I don't know about any other cars that do so. Ice350, get out of the car and lock the door(s) using your key fob - DO NOT USE THE BUTTON ON THE DOOR HANDLE. Wait about 20-25 seconds outside. Your doors should autolock. If it doesn't have the dealer check it out.
