What is everyone trying to place there anyway Most of us have at least one open spot next to the heated/cooled seats switch and I think some have up to 3 open spots. I only have one but think I am going to try that heated rear seat option and find an OEM switch from an older Lexus to place there as an on/off for the rear.

I was going to use a lexus switch that is ment for the spot where I put my rear heated switch's But the rear heated seat switch has 3 positions:

-high heat
-off
-Low heat

Lexus does not have a switch ment to fit there with those options so i have to drill and sand a little bit. I am going to use some apoxy and fill in the small holes and repaint them to match i just havent had the time. You could aLSO PUT The heated seat switches right beside the front switches....I kinda wish i would have done that

^ find a spare from a junk yard. That plastic part is separate isnt it?? I may have that part for you once I replace my center piece if you want it assuming it comes off.

kwc, thx for the pics!

well, it's a process of elimination to determine what that spare button does. what does the JDM GS have that the US GS doesn't? Answer that question, and you probably have a good idea what that spare button does.

Or alternatively, ask one of our japanese CL members (translators?) to ask the lexus dealerships and find out what that button controls.

must be the early 3GS's; mine is an '06 and looks just like this. I would prefer the trunk and fuel filler buttons be accessible without popping the panel, although you would need to get there to reset the trip odo.

edit: here is the image off of lexus.com for the current model.
