Default Heat/Cool button won't stay

One of my heat/cool buttons up front won't stay in the pressed position.

I've turned the button so the white dot is in the 12 oclock position but it won't stay closed.

Any ideas?

I'd say that there's something wrong with the spring mechanism, likely a worn or broken bit of plastic inside the switch. You'd probably have to replace the switch if you want it to stay in.

I'm assuming you have to pull the panel off to access the switch?

The switch panel itself is fairly easy to remove, as it is just held in with clips, a good pry will pop it out. If I recall correctly, the whole switch panel is one assembly, so you would probably have to replace the whole thing, minus the wood trim which can be removed from the switches.
