Default LEDS installed - Fuse keeps blowing

I recently installed LED lights in my parking lights, DRL, reverse lights and my front and rear turn signals (with 6ohm resistors). For some reason, my fuse for the DRL keeps going out.

FYI - I had a little trouble on the rear turn signal and accidentally cut the + and ground wire. I put them back together using a wire splicer, and the turn signals work just fine.

1) Does anyone have an idea why my DRL fuse keeps going out?
2) Can it be related to the turn signals? (Keep in mind my turn signal fuse never goes out).
3) Will the fact that I accidentally cut my rear turn signal wire, cause any long term damage on the wiring?

Somebody told me to up the amps on the fuse. I upped it 10 amps and it blows within one day. What is going on? Can someone please help?

Did you put resistors for the DRL?

No resistors for DRL. I did buy the modules though.

hmm I'm pretty sure that is the same thing. I have the modules with my LED DRL's and have not had any problems.

I'm not sure what you're trying to tell me. What do you mean its the same thing? Why does my fuse keep going out?

I was saying that the resistors and modules are the samething. I dont know why they would keep blowing unless one of the bulbs is over the wattage limit

1. What wattage bulbs are you running. I have had mine for almost a year now and not one issue. I have no resistors or anything with my DRL.

2. No.

3. No as long as you have a solid connection and either electrical tape or a heat shrink sleeve over it you will be fine.

I am going to say its the bulbs and I would NOT suggest you up the fuse especially if it keeps blowing. Go back and double check all connections to make sure something is not loose. If this doesnt correct the issue place your OEM DRL's in and see if the fuse still blows. If it does you have a short somewhere. If you work then its the bulbs that are causing the issues.

My guess is that one of your module is defective. You need to measure the ampere going to each DRL.

This is so frustrating. You think I can call Vleds and ask them to send me another module?

I'll definitely try putting back my stocks in to see if they still blow. My LED DRLs are 3WATT CREE+10SMD.

Problem solved. I had VLEDs replace one of my modules and it seems to have fixed the problem. No fuse blowout in two weeks now.
