Default No TPMS and No Lights?

Just curious but how long does it usually take for the car to realize that there are no TPMS' on the car? I put my wheels on this weekend and after driving around a good bit plus my drive into work today (20 miles 1 way), i still do not have any lights or warnings about low tire pressure.

Here is a similar question...anyone have only one on, say in your spare versus all in the spare somehow??? is that enough or does the car look for 4 ?

i would assume it looks at all 4 considering the fact that if one goes low, the light comes on.

I assume it will look for all 4 also...

With your TPMS I assume you park your car close to your OEM rims/tires and this is going to allow the car to reset every morning/evening. I had my OEM rims/tires stacked in the corner so I would never have my TPMS light go off on the dash. How come you didn't get a 2nd set of TPMS for your new rims?

Yeah really.. I have been driving around with no TPMS sensor in my new wheels for 4 days not and my tpms light hasn't come on yet. Am I lucky too?

my TPMS selector switch (under passenger dash) accidentally got pressed and changed the position. It took about 75-100 miles for the light come on.

Same here, all I do is park next to my OEM rims and TPMS always resets. It usually takes about 100 miles before the light comes on or if I hit a huge dip or pot hole it comes on immediately.

Are your OEM rims with TPMS stored next to where you park?
