The warning lights will come on after x miles if the computer does not detect the sensors. If the other set of wheels are close by when you start the car, it may be reading them.
Thanks, guys for the feedback. Well, I have now driven the car several times, about 30 miles. Still no light has come on.
Could it be caused by the spare in the trunk?
Where are you storing your stock wheels and TPMS? If they're close to where you're parking every night, the system detects them, and the warning light won't come on until after you drive away from them for some time.

^^^ what he said. Trust me if the sensors are not around, and you are not parking close to them, they will come on.
I have 16 inch rims, which the dealer installed. The dealer is storing my summer tires, so they are no where near my car.
It is now day #2, and I have driven the car 5 times in total, about 45 miles.
When I got my Progressiv ME's a long long time ago. I had them installed without sensors. I drove maybe 60 miles before the light went off. When I had my Varianza T1S, I had the sensors in, but they weren't activated, and the light went off within about 15 miles. I don't know how often it checks.
Javier: Yes, I was thinking maybe the new tires have the sensors in them, even though I didn't pay for them. It is now day #3, the car has been started about 12 times, and after 50 miles or so, still no light.

I think what everyone is saying, is that the dealer may have swapped your old TPMS sensors into the new rims.
