Default Michelin PS A/S Plus Feedback??

Looking for some comments with those who have real experience with Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus. I'm thinking of replacing my Dunlop's after 40k great miles. Several mostly sales and service folks have told me that I'll be much happier going with the Michelin's.

Thanks in advance for feedback!

IM running 17s on mine, about 10k on them almost no sign of wear, they are grippy, quiet and very smooth tires. I like the blackwall lettering and would buy them again without question, but they are expensive I found almost 125/tire more expensive than the competition in my area of So Cal. We have very fair weather, so keep that in mind.

these seem to be the only tires that have a wide variety of sizes (in an all-season setup for larger wheels). I don't really like how the tread design looks, plus they're a little expensive...especially when you get into the 19/20" range. if/when I end up getting wheels, these will probably be the tires I go with since I need to keep all-season performance.

i HAVE A SET AND THE RIDE AND PERFORMANCE ARE GREAT. QUiet, grip, water evacution, confident at high speed....they do everything well.
My only complaint is the tread pattern is sorta bulky making it more difficult to apply tire dressing. The grooves extend beyond the surface to the sidewall which increases tire dressing sling.
It's not a big enough issue to keep from getting another set for the other car though. Love em!

Check this thread out, some good reviews from people who've used them.

Have them on my '06 GS430 and my wife's '94 SC00. Great tires and I'll likely replace with same when these are worn out.

I just got these tires put on several weeks ago. Definitely agree with what the others have posted. It is quiet and the performance is fine. It has a 45k tread warranty as well. I was a little hesistant with how hard the tire rating is but so far so good! I put about 4k on them.

I've read nothing but good things about them and I've ridden in cars with them and they seem quite good.

I have the Michi Pilot Sport A/S in 18" and really like them. They are quiet, grippy and awesome even in the heaviest of rains. I haven't used them in snow nor do I plan to in the future. The only drawback was that they were kinda pricey.

You can read my story here. In the end I ended up with PS2s. I don’t notice the noise any longer and I have 2-3k on them now. If it was not for the drifting, the A/S plus would be a great tire for my car. Good luck and if you have an issue, Michelin is great about taking care of you.

I ended up having them installed this morning. Very few miles on them thus far but I can say they feel great and seem quieter and more responsive than the OEM Dunlop's.

Thanks again for all the comments!

I just got the pilot sport a/s + for the 19" f-sports awd had it for 249 miles now, the ride is on the ok side, road noise is on the higher than the stock 17s i had. i like it a lot in the rain though. get it at costco if you can, they fill it with nitrogen, put your tpms in from your old one, rotate and all that good stuff and give you warranty on them for cheaper than tire rack.
