These wheels are supa solid, I was almost suckered into spending $3400 for CV3's w tires. I spent $1192 total. No brainier if you ask me

there are reasons why some wheels are cheaper then others. corners are cut to keep final price down. i know the wheels posted arent weds, but heres a quick vid about rep vs real. pretty sure the concept is relevant


imo my safety isnt worth the ~2k you saved, but to each their own.

BINGO! That is the exact reason why it took me almost 2 yrs since I bought GS to find an authentic wheels that I can afford rather than a knockoff / copy wheels. Wheels are the only thing that separate you, your car and the road.

Anyway, this is a subject that had been debated in the past, so lets stop it here and get back to wheels pictures.

I've spent 3k on Rims n tires 2x in the past. Simple Physics determine any rim will bend or crack, some sooner than others. I never cracked or bent a rim ever. My new $800 rims hold up just as well as my 3K petrol throttle or My buddie 3K CV3's.

Now the ? Is, If your wheels do bend and or crack, would you rather had spent 1k+ or 3k+??

Bottom line is I wouldn't buy rims unless they have the highest levels of certification IE: JWT, TUV, SAE

well if you saw in the video, the authentic wheel did not crack like the rep. i would hate to be driving and have a cheap wheel fail, risking my safety. i trust the R&D that go into an expensive wheel vs save a few bucks. but like i said in the original post, to each their own.

i was not defending vossen, no where in my original post did i even mention it. vossen (to me at least) would not even be considered authentic. when i stated authentic, i was referring to makers such as weds, ssr, work, amistad, etc.


from a quick google search, str is a known knock-off wheel producer. and i stated my opinion on vossen above.
