Looks like that front needs about a 20mm spacer for sure, other than that, looks good

so rominl the best bet for an awd GS is to just get the same size all around , i.e 245/30/20 8.5

not necessarily. you can use overspec tires if you want, but just need to make sure all 4 tires have pretty much the same overall diameter.

we have members with awd running 22s, those gotta be overspec

yea but its not good. it has to be within i would say 3% max of the stock overall diameter. with 22s your about 7% over (not good). I talked about this with mark (Mr. Mark) and my lexus tech and they both said the same thing about the awd system.

if your doing 20s id stick with 245/30/20. thats very close to the stock overall diameter.

just out of curiosity, what's not good about it? the awd is done through slip, rather than speed. with larger diameter wheels (if same across all corners), all it does is throw off the speedo. to "reality", yes, the car is going faster than what's on speedo, but to the car it won't know anything (it doesn't use gps calculated speed in the awd system)

the overall more weight and inertia is not going to matter too, coz' awd just distribute the power, not creating more power

I am looking for a meaty 5 star rims similar to these in 18's (pref black). Also when a rim has a lip vs no lip whats is the dif in performance?

I couldn't agree with you more, Henry. Hell, if you can put 26" wheels on it, it won't matter to the AWD system as long as all wheels are the same overall diameter. The main reason why it's not good to run a staggered setup when sizes are different is because of the center differential (as you all know).

No difference in performance. It's all about the looks. Some prefer no lip while others prefer it.
