Default Tire size help

Hey guys im purchasing 20's for my car next week. Im getting Lexani LSS-10
20 x 8.5
20 x 10

What tires size do you guys recommend?

I was thinking:

235/30/20
285/25/20

But they are super expensive....

Then I was thinking ...

245/30/20
275/30/20

Which would bring the price down, but the front end would be a little lower than the back.

Any recommendations??

THnx!

either 245/30 and 285/25, or 245/35 and 275/30 (or 285/30 depending on offsets)

i just don't see any point in running different spec tires front and rear

I am feeling the Vossen line up. They make good quality wheels . If you see them in person you will know what I mean. In fact these guys are the only wheel company I have ever heard of that actually offered to send a sample wheel to people to evaluate the quality. That says a lot

u learn something new everyday before I always thought that the first numbers where how wide the tire was the second numbers where how high the tire is from rim and the last numbers where the complete diameter of the wheel so to me a 235/30/20 and lets say a 255/30/20 had the same height/cushioning being the 30

well good that this thread is educational but yeah, that's why on staggered setup, you see 245/35 front, and then you see 275/30 rear. that's to match the sidewall

I would do 19's not 20's....I had 20's on my Benz and got a flat about once every 4 weeks- they look *****in- but not worth the hassle....There is not enough sidewall for 20's to endure even the slightest pothole- and I live in Atlanta where the roads are not too bad. Just be forewarned if you go with 20's- 20's are for the track or show....zero function on a street car IMHO-
cheers!~

Nothing wrong with the wheel but I wouldn't get this particular wheel from Craigslist. Too many people been ripped off. I had a G35 and the offsets are around 20-25. This ad says these are 38 offset. If that were true they would look more sunken in than that. I don't trust it. Go to the Axis or EXE website and buy them new.

Okay, be safe. I heard about someone being robbed meeting up with someone from craigslist. I guess you can't blame craigslist that predators are using their site but it seems that is what is happening.
I was almost ripped off myself. I had to play detective, report the guy to the authorities to get him off my back.
Just be careful. Meeting at a rim shop is a great idea.
