Hey guys I drive a 2011 GS350, I just bought figs rear toe links and spc front ball joints. I'm planning on ordering graphite Vossen VFS2 in 19x8.5 +38 and 19x10 +45 with tires 245/35 and 275/30. Currently on my stock 18's 245/40. Lowered on BC coilovers and very slightly rubbing on the front fenders. I like how low my car is right now, and I did the math on this 19 inch setup, the diameter for front and rear is very close to stock. 20's on the front with 245/30 is close to stock but the rear is about an inch larger using 275/30. I want to keep my car as low as possible and avoid rubbing so thats the reason I'm going with 19s. I'm hoping since diameter is about the same on the 19s, I dont need to raise my car. Before I place my order I'd like to know what you guys think of this setup. Thanks everyone!

If you're low in general on 19s..
Just like a majority of people here, you will eventually create a hole in your front fender liner from the tire rubbing it on turns. It's not possible to avoid it, but it doesn't create any damage.

Setup sounds good, if you want a more flush setup, get the "350z" offsets for those wheels, but be prepared to stretch your tires a bit and go lower lol.

Concept One 20X10, et40 wrapped with Bridgestone Potenza 270/30 all around. I previously posted but was on Sustec NF springs and running 255/35 tires at the time. I still need more low so I'll likely drop it more this weekend.

What if I go with 265/30 for the rear instead of 275/30? Would that look stretched? And only 3mm shorter on sidewall should not make a noticeable difference in comfort would it? I just found out 265 tires cost a lot less.

Default Need help on tire size!!

So I have a set of Vossen CV3-R 20x8.5 all around. I am currently on stock suspension/height AWD. Can anyone tell me if 245/35 will fit without any rubbing or if so how bad and where it will most likely rub? Also I don't understand "offsets" and I'm wondering if I will need offsets with my setup etc. Can someone please inform me on this matter please!!

265/30/19 is what I ran on my Vossen CVT 19x10 before. They did not look stretched if I remember correctly. They looked pretty normal. Try to find my pictures on here..

I personally use strictly 235/35/19 / 265/30/19 on all my setups.

My past set ups were the following:
19x8.5 & 19x10 - 235/35/19 / 265/30/19
19x9.5 / 19x10.5 - 235/35/19 / 265/30/19
19x10 / 19x11 - 235/35/19 / 265/30/19

Some tires stretch more / less, I usually only run to Toyo T1 Sport, Toyo Proxes 4 Plus, Hankook Ventus V12 Evo, Hankook Ventus Evo 2.

Can't go wrong with Toyo's...mmmmmmm. I should've went 265/30/19. The 255/35/19 is thick for the rears. The 235's upfront is on point, perfect stretch. I've always wanted to thank VDMTom and YogiFTLC for wheel/tire specs.

Default 2008 Stock Suspension Wheel Question?

Hello guys,
First let me say hello I am new to this forum and owning a Lexus. I love the car so far and have been reading all the threads here. This wheel thread is awesome but I was unable to find the answer to my question. Can anyone tell me what the recommended wheel size and tire sizes are for a 2008 GS350 AWD? I would like to go to 20's possibly if I can. I do not want to deal with rubbing or bottoming out. As of right now I do not plan to lower the car. I also do not want to mess up the AWD. Any help/ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you
Wes

Wheel Gurus: I'm dealing with a seller that is selling is wheels off of his 2007 RWD Lexus GS350. I will be purchasing an 2008 AWD GS350. Below are the specs he gave me about the wheels, will these just be plug and play on my gs350? Does it matter if its originally set up for RWD or not? Will I have any rubbing issues? He's giving me a great but I don't want end up spending more money to mod these to fit.

This is all the specs:

20" Cor Cypher
5x114.3
Front tires 245/30/20
Rear tires 295/25/20

He doesn't know the offset or the width. I might purchase these tomorrow, I just need confirmation from the Wheel Gurus here if this set up will work. Thank you in advance!

You are missing key information (width and offset) for most of us to give you an opinion. FWIW, that tire size in the rear usually would need a fender roll or shave as I' guessing the rim is more than likely a 20x10.5 or wider.

Sweet! What tire size? Any rubbing or other mods to make it fit?
