Hey yawl. Question. Would a 245-35-20 and 285-30-20 cause any issues or set off any alarms on an 08 AWD GS.
I have 225-35-20 and 255-30-20 on now and they ran fine with no issue but the wheels were too narrow and the wheel stuck out so I want one a little wider. From what I saw on 1010tire.com they should be good. Just seeing if anyone else ran or is running that combo on an AWD.
Thanks!

What are you running? For AWD, you should be around 1% max! If not, your car will think the traction is slipping and you will wear out your drive train.
You should run a 275/30-20 with the 245/35-20. I'm surprised you can fit a 285/30-20 without rubbing in the rear.
If you're running 245-35-20 and 285-30-20 which looks like a variance of more than 3% , you will have issues. For AWD, you should be around 1% max! If not, your car will think the traction is slipping and you will wear out your drive train.

You are 6.77% off between front and back. I would remove those wheels if you are indeed AWD. You will do some damage, quickly.
Depends on how crazy strecth you want but you can go:
225/35-20 and 255/30-20
225/35-20 and 265/30-20
I've ran both on my AWD without any mechanical issues, just very rough ride and bent wheels due to being so stretched.

Actually, 245/35/20 has exactly the same circumference and diameter as 285/30/20. 275/30/20 is 1.8% smaller in circumference.

What do you think about running 235/35/20 all the way around with 8.5" rims? Would that be stretched? I don't want bent wheels nor rough ride.

That's a good size if you want the most meat on a tire without going over 3% of original stock diameter. Anything more puts excess stress on the drivetrain.
Thanks, guys. If going 235/35/20, what are the pros/cons of going with 8", 8.5", 9", and 9.5" wheel width in terms of comfort, rim protection, and look?
