Wow, nice turnaround, looks great!!! How hard was it to take the emblems off? What did you use?
You smoked the front too? Got pics of it?
You bought both paints at the hobby store right?
Fantastic!
My main issue is the 450h badge has BLUE in the middle. Not sure how I would keep it blue its very small
It looks like this
daamn someones ballin! i havent even seen that car yet. so back to the issue, what yur tellin me is on that blue badge, you wanna keep it blue but smoke the teeny tiny chrome edges that outline the blue? not to discourage yor or anything but if that is what your trying to do, its gonna be pretty friggen impossibly difficult to get the result you want. what i would do is spray prolly about 2 light coats at the angle that the chrome is facing and if u dont like how it looks on the blue part, wet sand it off using like a #2 eraser as a block n 3000 grit sand paper. thats the only thing i can come up with.
lol, are u really thinking about smoking the chrome lines on the blue badge? ill update front emblem pics. just the smoke was bought at the hobby store. the clear coat i buy at the local automotive paint supply store. its called u-pol. best clear coat in a can hands down. call around and ask for it

ohhh, just the inside flat part of the badge is blue.... duhh, i thought that whole badge was blue outlined with chrome hair line edges. if just the flat surface is blue than i would call that do-able. just gota think of the best way
