Default Black pearl emblems

Is there a vendor on this site that sells the black pearl emplem kit for the F? Or does anyone know where to get them? My Lexus dealer in Tampa can't get them for some reason

they sell em on ebay and you can also get em thru sewell.

http://is.sewellparts.com/accessorie...2012/2026.html

another option if you don't mind the matte look is to just spray em with plasti dip.
you can get a can for like $18 and it looks great.

you can check out some pics of my car in the 3rd gen GS forum if you want to see how they look.

there are 2 threads of mine with pics of them one is called "some pics by the bay" and the other is "2 roof spoiler pics".

cheers.

PS: the actual emblems from sewell are pretty ridic $$$ so if you don't feel like spending $400 but you really want a gloss look and not matte you can still do the plasti-dip and they sell a glossifier that you can spray ontop of the regular spray and that gives the glossy/pearl look.
pretty decent alternative to spending $400 on emblems.
granted you may have to reapply the plasti dip after a year or 2 due to wear and tear (tho i'm guessing that would apply more to the front which is exposed to debris etc whereas the back should be relatively protected and last much longer).

just some food for thought.

Also, Duplicolor makes a product called "Shadow" that's specifically made for black chroming emblems. It's a two part kit that comes with a black shadow basecoat and a seperate can of clearcoat. It works really well at a fraction of the cost Lexus/Sewell charges.

The Tamiya hobby paint works pretty well, too. Code is PS-21; Color is smoke.
