Default GS windshield rain repellant?

so i was washing my car yesterday and i noticed (for the first time ) that the front windows beads instead of sheets like on the rear windows. i assume that it provides the driver better visibility in the rain. is the front windshield the same as well? i didn't check to see.

I believe only the front 2 side windows are water repellant. Its a factory coasting that usually last 2 to 3 years.

ah, thx for the info. only 2-3 years? that sucks...i wish lexus coated all the windows with this water repellant thing. it doesn't cost them that much more money, and it improves safety and visibility when driving in the rain.

i don't see why they need it in the rear side windows though, to me front side windows being repellent that's good enough.
