yeah but insurance companies are crooked these days. always finding an excuse to hike your premiums.

sometimes 2 different companies can't agree to 100% liability, and the crooked insurance company makes you partly liable or something.

i was thinking the same.. my mom's es300 had the rear bumper replaced and painted, cost 1100 from the local dealer.

i understand what you mean. they do all types of cars but mainly bmw, benz, lexus, bentleys, ferraris, etc... ive seen their work and they do unbelievible work.

i know alot of shop around where i live dont even take the part off the car when they fix it. also they dont blend either. i asked a guy at a local body shop who gave me a quote of around 400 to repair the bumper about blending the paint into the rear of the car and he told me that they wont need to do that. i thought it was kind of odd especially with a car being white and white being the hardest color to match up.

i also think it's funny that they don't blend. while it's not always necessary, but a lot of times blending is a very good technique to smooth out the colors

bottom line though, if they can do good job, that's what counts

yea if they do a good job thats fine but without blending it makes it hard to match the paint no matter how new or fresh the paint is.
